To help you prepare for the Colorado real state exam, we included information on how to schedule your exam, the exam’s format, and what you’ll be tested on. Now, all that's left to do is study with the best exam prep in the nation!
Apply for an initial real estate license at the following website: PSI Candidate Care Center, or by calling (855) 744-0313. The exam must be scheduled at least one day in advance.
Current processing time: Applications can take up to 10 days from receipt to be processed by the Division of Real Estate.
There is a national portion as well as a state-specific portion.
Broker Examination: The national portion consists of 80 multiple choice questions and must be completed within 120 minutes. The state-specific portion consists of 74 multiple choice questions and must be completed within 110 minutes.
The exam is given on a computer at the following locations: Denver, Fort Collins, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, and Durango.

Broker Examination: You must correctly answer at least 75% of the national portion (60 questions must be correct) and 72% of the state-specific portion (53 questions must be correct).
