CONNECTICUT REAL ESTATE LICENSE RENEWAL
In Connecticut, real estate professionals, both salespersons and brokers, are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education (CE) every two years to maintain an active license. This includes mandatory courses on topics such as Fair Housing and State Agency Law Updates, which are essential for staying up-to-date with current regulations and practices. The remaining hours can be fulfilled through elective courses that cover various relevant industry topics.
All CE courses must be approved by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection (DCP). Both salespersons and brokers must renew their licenses by May 31st of even-numbered years. Continuing education can be completed through online or in-person classes to fit individual preferences.
