1. Meet the Experience Requirement
To pursue a Florida Broker License, you must hold an active Florida Sales Associate License for at least two years within the last five years. If licensed in another state, contact us to check your eligibility and the necessary steps.
2. Complete the Required Education

3. Apply for the Broker License Exam

4. Pass the State Broker Examination
After your application is approved, take the Florida Broker Exam. We provide exam prep tools and resources to help you succeed.
Complete a 72-hour pre-licensing broker course approved by the Florida Real Estate Commission (FREC). This course covers topics such as real estate law, brokerage management, and investment analysis. You need to pass the end-of-course exam with a score of at least 70%.
The "Florida Real Estate Broker’s Guide" is a comprehensive resource for broker prelicensing education, aligned with the Florida Real Estate Broker Course Syllabus. It expands on career knowledge, covering topics like owning and managing a broker office, creating business plans, budgets, and profit and loss statements. The guide also includes sample closing statement case studies reflecting state license broker exam questions using the Closing Disclosure.
