1. Meet the Eligibility Requirements
Before pursuing a real estate broker license, verify that you meet your state's eligibility criteria. This typically includes holding an active real estate salesperson license and accumulating a certain amount of experience, such as two to three years working under a licensed broker.
2. Complete the Required Education

4. Pass the State Broker Examination
After your application is approved, take the state Broker Exam. We provide exam prep tools and resources to help you succeed.
3. Apply for the Broker License Exam
Once you finish your education, apply for the Broker License exam. We offer detailed assistance and a checklist to ensure you have all necessary documents.
To become a licensed real estate broker in Georgia, you must complete a 60-hour pre-licensing broker course approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC). This course provides in-depth knowledge of key areas such as real estate law, brokerage operations, and investment principles. Successfully passing the course exam with a minimum score of 75% is required to qualify for the state licensing exam.
