1. Meet the Eligibility Requirements
Before pursuing a real estate broker license, verify that you meet your state's eligibility criteria. This typically includes holding an active real estate salesperson license and accumulating a certain amount of experience, such as two to three years working under a licensed broker.
2. Complete the Required Education

4. Pass the State Broker Examination

3. Apply for the Broker License Exam

To become a licensed real estate broker in Georgia, you must complete a 60-hour pre-licensing broker course approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC). This course provides in-depth knowledge of key areas such as real estate law, brokerage operations, and investment principles.
