GEORGIA REAL ESTATE LICENSE RENEWAL
In Georgia, real estate professionals, including both salespersons and brokers, are required to complete 36 hours of continuing education (CE) every four years to maintain an active license. This includes a mandatory 3-hour course on Georgia License Law, while the remaining 33 hours can be fulfilled through elective courses on topics such as contract law, ethics, and real estate practices.
All CE courses must be approved by the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC), and licensees must renew their licenses by the anniversary date of their initial licensure. CE courses can be completed online or in-person, offering flexibility for busy professionals. Failing to meet the requirements may result in additional continuing education obligations or penalties for reinstating the license.
