TENNESSEE REAL ESTATE LICENSE RENEWAL
In Tennessee, both Affiliate Brokers and Brokers are required to complete 16 hours of continuing education (CE) every two years to maintain an active license. This includes:
Additionally, for the first renewal after obtaining their license, new Affiliate Brokers must complete a 30-hour post-licensing course. This course covers state-specific modules and topics set by the Tennessee Real Estate Commission before transitioning to the regular CE requirements for subsequent renewals.
All CE hours must be completed before the license expiration date, and failure to meet these requirements may result in the license being placed on inactive status until the CE obligations are fulfilled.
