ARKANSAS REAL ESTATE LICENSE RENEWAL

In Arkansas, real estate professionals (both salespersons and brokers) are required to complete 7 hours of continuing education (CE) annually to maintain their active licenses. This includes:

  1. 1-hour required course on Limiting Risk and Safety for agents and clients.
  2. 3 hours from one of the required courses, such as the AREC Property Management Course or the AREC Commercial Real Estate Course.
  3. 3 elective hours if only one of the required courses is chosen.

These courses can be taken online or in person, and completion certificates must be submitted to the Arkansas Real Estate Commission before the license renewal deadline​.
