Renew your real estate license or broker’s license in Kentucky with our partner's online accredited continuing education program.
Sign up for the required number of CE hours specific to your state’s regulations before your license renewal deadline. Each state mandates different requirements, typically including a mix of mandatory and elective courses to keep you informed about updates in laws, ethics, and industry standards.
CE courses can typically be completed online, in-person, or through live virtual formats, depending on your state’s approved options. Ensure you fulfill both core and elective requirements within the designated timeframe, covering subjects relevant to your practice and state guidelines.

KENTUCKY REAL ESTATE LICENSE RENEWAL
In Kentucky, real estate professionals must complete 6 hours of continuing education (CE) every year to maintain an active license. This includes a mandatory 3 hours in real estate law, while the remaining 3 hours can be completed through elective courses. The CE requirement is due by December 31st each year.
Additionally, all active licensees are required to complete the Kentucky Core Course once every four years. This course covers essential state-specific topics, and no other course can be substituted for it. If a licensee does not complete the required CE hours by the deadline, they risk being placed on inactive status and may need to fulfill additional requirements to reactivate their license.
License renewal in Kentucky occurs every two years by March 31st, with CE hours needing to be completed before the annual December 31st deadline. If a licensee completes more than the required hours in one year, the excess can be applied to the following year within the same biennial renewal period.
