3. Pass the real estate exam
Passing the real estate exam shows that you have learned and understood the necessary education to be a real estate agent. After passing, you are awarded your real estate license and can start your real estate career!
Complete a 75-hour pre-licensing broker course approved by the North Carolina Real Estate Commission (NCREC). This course covers key topics such as real estate law, brokerage management, and property valuation. You must pass the end-of-course exam with a score of at least 75% to qualify for the state licensing exam.
